About
Anna Michail is a Registered Clinical Dietitian specializing in Chronic Kidney Disease. She is the founder of Eatducation, where she helps individuals through consultations and education in order for each person to meet their goals.
She graduated from Bath Spa University, Bath, UK, with a BSc in Food and Nutrition in 2015. She then moved to her hometown, Nicosia, to complete an MSc in Clinical Dietetics, which was completed in 2018 at the University of Nicosia. During her master's degree, she completed a total of 1030 hours of placement practice. The placement gave her the opportunity to work on real-life cases. She practiced at different hospitals around Cyprus and in the private sector. She developed critical thinking and learned how to manage several diseases as well as individual needs.
After discovering an interest in the renal area, she decided to pursue a PhD on how nutrition plays a vital role for kidney patients. During her PhD, she started teaching at the University of Nicosia, and she is a private educator, helping to spread knowledge to her colleagues.
She is now working in the private sector as a Clinical Dietitian, using a patient-centered approach. Her main goal for her patients is to teach them the principles of healthy nutrition in order to make it their lifestyle and not just a simple diet. She listens to her patients' needs and tries to meet their goals. When she is not working, teaching, or counseling, she creates useful content for her patients. She also enjoys cooking, going to the gym, playing with her cat, and reading mystery books.
